We are currently recruiting local kind and caring individuals to join our established and growing team of Home Care Assistants. (Domicilliary).

We can’t look after our customers if we don’t look after our staff. Our Care Assistants benefit from:

Our Carers visit the homes of elderly, disabled and other vulnerable adults to provide a range of care services which enable them to remain living independently in their own home as an alternative to a residential care home.

Our Care Assistants will:

• Support with personal care
• Provide companionship
• Prompt and/or administer medication
• Support with food preparation, domestic duties, and shopping
• Assist through Manual handling / using equipment where required

As a Care Assistant you will need:

• You must have a valid right to work in the UK and currently be living in the country
• A genuine desire to care for others
• To be reliable, compassionate, honest and patient
• To be a resident in Islington or Hackney (If you are not a resident of these boroughs, your application will be declined. Being close by, willing to travel or move will still result in a rejected application. Please search for the branch in your local borough)
• To have availability to work 20 hours or more per week
• Can work flexible times, early mornings from 7am and/or evenings to 10pm will be part of your regular schedule
• Alternate weekends (including Sunday)

Previous experience is desirable, but we also have an excellent training programme for those without experience.

We can offer both full-time and part-time hours. We provide care between 7am and 10pm, 7 days a week so working hours include early mornings, late evenings, and weekend working. We ask our Healthcare Assistants for a commitment to working a minimum of 2 evenings per week and alternate weekends.

We provide care and have opportunities across both Hackney & Islington including N1, EC1, N7, N19, N4, N5, N16, E5, E8 and E9.

Please note: all of our roles are subject to appropriate enhanced police check (DBS) charged at £52.00 for new applications. Or checking of your existing certificate on the update service if held.
