Responsibilities:
– Assist with food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
– Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
– Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces
– Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
– Stock and restock supplies in the kitchen as needed
– Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
– Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
– Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
– Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary environment is preferred
– Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
– Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
– Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
